Content matters in detail

Content matters is campaign arranged by Active - sobriety, friendship and peace, financially supported by Council of Europe. The campaign will last till the end of the year 2009. The final product of the campaign is a book written by YOU.

There are three cathegories to contribute to:
Text (stories, essays, reflections,..)
Picture (photos, collages, drawings)
Motto (short slogans eventually graphically modified)

From April 2009 on, you have the possibility to write, create, shoot pictures, made up short slogans related to the following topics:
* Youth participation
* Young people and violance
* Alcohol and passivity
* Alcohol and violance

Content matters is about young people and their concerns. Are young people taken seriously? Do they have chance to choose? Are young people the main source of violance? How are young people affected by violance among adults? Can young people do anything about it? Is alcohol a given part of youth?

Everyone can contribute. The number of contributions is not limited. The topics are very broad.

There is a committee consisting of 20 people that will choose the best products in the course of the year. Those will be published in the book in the end of the year 2009. Moreover, the best pictures will be published as stickers and sent out to our member organisations and partners every other month. The best picture will be used as a cover for the book and for the poster announcing the book.
